Hi all! I'm super excited to see this group come together and to see all the interest! I would like to nominate myself as a co-chair of this new Federated Identity Community Group. I am a member of the Identity Standards Team in the Microsoft Identity Division and primarily focus on identity federation, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and security event and signal sharing. I participate in a mix of CGs and WGs in the OpenID Foundation, W3C, FIDO Alliance, and IETF. I am also a member of Internet2's eduroam Advisory Committee, an advisory body to the Internet2 Community Architecture Committee for Trust and Identity (CACTI). I am currently leading a sub-group of the OpenID Connect Working Group at the OpenID Foundation which is dedicated to browser interactions and the impact of privacy-related user agent changes on federated identity. This OIDC subgroup will be retired in favor of this new W3C Federated Identity CG. I am looking forward to working with everyone. Thanks for your consideration and have a great weekend!
