FedID CG Chair Nomination: Heather Flanagan

Hello all,

I would like to nominate myself as chair of the new FedID CG. I am a freelance consultant that specializes in facilitating technical volunteer groups and organizations. Some of you may recognize me from the eight years I spent as the RFC Series Editor, and others may recognize me from my work with organizations like IDPro (a professional organization for identity and access management practitioners), REFEDS (a community for Research & Education identity federations around the world), and a few others. In the interest of full disclosure, Google is sponsoring me for much of my work that’s led to the creation of this community group, and will continue to be a sponsor going forward. That said, I do not speak for Google nor do I have any authority over any decisions they make.

The chair is responsible for choosing co-chairs. I would not be choosing anyone from Google for those roles. I would like to see someone from another browser vendor and a third from an RP.
