No, _you_ haven't, unfortunately lots of people the evangelism community 
have, and even more choose to use it even if suggesting that there is a 
choice.   Criticisms of XHTML 1.0 as text/html evangelism is not a criticism 
of you Karl, whilst I cannot understand your conclusion that serving XHTML 
1.0 in a weird "compatible" way is a pragmatic approach, I do believe you 
arrived at it after careful thought.
