A link to http://pending.schema.org/Occupation would be a way of providing quite detailed, semantically rich information; however the reality of much schema.org data provision is that plain text values are more readily available. Here's an example <https://www.cityandguilds.com/qualifications-and-apprenticeships/children/children-and-young-people/4174-svqs-in-social-services-children-and-young-people-levels-2-and-3#tab=information> "[this qualification] is for learners who work or want to work in the social services sector specialising in children and young people, for example as a child minder, in day care, crèches, preschools and schools, hospitals, primary care and community based services" > The compare credentials gives 6 comparison options. I could only imagine answering it in terms of other use case headings (e.g. people who want to be X, or people who have the following competencies..., etc.) If no one objects I shall remove this. > ·Searches and/or Refinements to Searches > > oIndividuals search for credentials based on cost of attaining them. > > oIndividuals search for credentials that are renewable (e.g. > certifications and licenses) > > oIndividuals discover the assessments recommended or required to earn > a credential. > > oIndividuals discover learning opportunities (e.g. courses, programs, > events) required or recommended to earn a credential. > > oEmployers identify the verification/authentication services provided > by a credentialing organization. > > oIndividuals discover the credentials connections to other > credentials, learning opportunities or assessments (e.g., advanced > standing, preparation for, stacked) > I think most of these were covered, but I added "Find a service to verify a credential" > Maybe I missed this…is there a use case that gets to Individuals > discover credentials based on the amount of time it takes to earn them? > Good point. Time required could mean the typical time required to acquire the requisite competences etc, e.g. the duration of an appropriate course,--but this would depend on the individual's current standing, and can be adequately covered in the description of the course; or it could mean any 'experience' requirement--for example, in Scotland, lawyers must work as 'trainees' for two years after their acquiring their academic diploma before they are fully qualified to practise independently. I think we could add this type of requirement under the existing "eligibility requirements". Does that cover everything?
