I think I may have a new use case: "It should be possible to discover credentials that build on, or otherwise require, credentials I have already earned." In the U.S., it is not uncommon to have degree programs that: (1) accept 3rd party credentials as 'advanced standing' for the credential being pursued; (2) require various 3rd party certifications to earn the degree being pursued; or (3) provide learning opportunities that prepare a person to successfully sit for a set of required 3rd party certifications. For example, Brandman University's *Bachelor of Science in Information Technology* [1] is of the third kind noted above in that it provides course work qualifying a person to sit for seven externally awarded certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+ etc.). See the CE description at [2] and click the "7 included credentials" link on the right. Please excuse if this use case is included in some way in the current set and I just missed it. --Stuart [1] https://www.brandman.edu/mypath/business-professional-studies/bs-information-technology [2] https://credentialengine.org/publisher/detail/Credential/83 -- Stuart A.
