[EOWG] Responses to Questionnaire Accessibility Course List Eagle Review

Dear Sylvie,

We would first like to thank you for taking the time to contribute to improving this resource.

We have received valuable feedback and some of the suggestions have already been incorporated into the tool, others have been added to our to-do list for the next development stages, and others may need further discussion.

The updated version is currently available at: https://614c42623e94470008d04ab1--wai-list-of-courses.netlify.app/list-of-courses/

A brief summary of all the updates made is available at:

Following is the list of the answers you have provided in the Eagle Review Survey with our comments for each one of them. Let us know if you have any further considerations or additional clarifications on any topic are needed.

  *   Attributes for describing offers

     * I think this is clear. When for fee is there, how can the reader know how much it costs? How can they get information about what they should pay?

The reader can find more information directly on the provider's website as the main goal of this resource is to provide essential information about the offers available. However, it is possible to include an additional field for paid courses with the value of it, and include it in the advanced filtering tool to be developed in the future. We will be considering this issue in future surveys.

  *   Filter categories

     * Most of the filters are clear. Nevertheless, there should be an explanation about what: non-credit, undergrad, graduate, professional means.

We have reviewed this category, as well as the degree of certification category. Current attributes for defining an offer are: Graduate program, Undergraduate program, Training program, Professional certification, and Other. Are these clear enough?

  *   Landing page

     * I think there should be another page explaining how to use resource, what one can find there and what the different filters are, especially the first set of filters with graduate and so on... see above. I think this page should not contain a link to submit a new course but the introduction page.

Considering the feedback received, we believe that some of the items were not clear enough. The changes we have made aimed to make this information more intuitive so that we don't need a page with additional instructions. In this sense, we have reorganized the offer types. In addition, we will further discuss which items can benefit from an associated info button with a sort of glossary.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing your comments.

Best,
Letícia
