I do not recall the profile guidance document having considered this "profile of" relationship, although it would be good to think about the concept in general. My feeling is that the guidance document will state that "profile of" is not a precise or useful designation in most cases. However, I think this needs to be transferred to the PROF github area since this was specifically a response to the prof:profileOf property and the issues listed here have not been resolved in the text.
