I apologize if this is already known to all of you but I didn't happen to see a message to this list so I thought it would be good to post it, even if duplicated: The Research Data Alliance has developed a recommendation for best practices of versioning of datasets.[1] The report speaks about their interaction with DXWG on the issue of versioning as it could be considered in DCAT. It also makes use of FRBR concepts (which is what caught my attention). The review period goes until February 28, and it seems not unreasonable that the DXWG would respond with its thoughts. Thank you, kc [1] https://www.rd-alliance.org/group/data-versioning-wg/outcomes/principles-and-best-practices-data-versioning-all-data-sets-big -- Karen Coyle kcoyle@kcoyle.net http://kcoyle.net skype: kcoylenet
