Not asking to remove functions, just asking for a clear definition for the reader. We defined data profile; now we need a definition of functional profile. That shouldn't be controversial, since W3C documents generally provide definitions of key terminology used in the document. If there is no difference in the definitions, then it isn't clear to me why "functional" profiles are singled out in the text, and not just called profiles.
