Good point @agreiner . But I am less worried about this. Most of the references to functional profiles between section 2 and 7 seem to be about specific functional profiles (e.g. "QSA functional profile"). And honestly for these references, whether they were using "realization" or functional profile, as a reader I was always forward-looking into the proper sub-section to understand what it was about anyway. My point is that at least when reading these references I didn't remember scratching my head, wondering what editors might have said. I just went to the specific section. What really puzzled me was the generic introduction in 2.1, as in this position it was much less clear whether the profiles mentioned there were about what's conneg'ed or not. I hope I'm making some sense.
