@kcoyle making definitions terser is a good idea - but this example dct:conformsTo Definition: | An established standard to which the described resource conforms. the defintion is actually about the object of the relationship "An established standard " and not about the relationship itself. "identifies an established standard..." makes the definition about the relationship.
