@aisaac that is the issue I have with `dct:conformsTo`. If it is unclear how one should use this property if the semantics is varying based on the subject and the object. In particular if the object (in this case the standard) expresses statements on the subject and the relationships of that subject with other entities in the same formalism. That leads to statements that cannot be used and has no semantical foundation. If the outcome is that `dct:conformsTo` should not refer to an application-profile of DCAT, because of the complex interplay, I would like to have it stated explicitly. If I follow this decision, what is then an example for a standard for a catalogRecord? Since the catalogRecord is a notion that only has a value in the context of a catalog, I cannot see a different value for `dct:conformsTo` then the one specified for the catalog.
