another approach would be to have two properties: 1) an RDF property to cover a small number of generic types of relationships, for interoperability (ideally a required property); 2) an optional 'prof:roleConcept' property populated by skos:concept for semantic precision, that would probably have vocabularies defined by different communities and specified in profiles of prof.
