I think we did talk about it when `dcat:Resource` was introduced. On the one hand, DCATA is a _data_ catalog vocabulary, so the normal assumption would be that sub-classes would be related to data. OTOH the idea was to provide a platform for any kind of catalogue, including real-world-things like specimens. So I agree with the spirit of @riccardoAlbertoni proposal on that basis. If we need the nuance, it would be something like 
> A curated collection of metadata about catalogued resources (e.g. datasets and data services in the context of a data catalog)
