I agree with the comments by Riccardo and Andrea, also having read the points that Annette highlighted from https://www.w3.org/2019/Process-20190301/#rec-rescind, as superseding means that we would recommend to use DCAT2 for new adoption. I'd like to see some text clarifying that we are superseding but not making DCAT1 obsolete (as "A Recommendation can be both superseded and obsolete") and emphasise on the backward compatibility. I couldn't find anything around backward compatiblity in the Process Document either.
