Yes in that case it seems that simply stating A is a profile of B (where in your example B is BIBFRAME) would be sufficient. There is no validation-related resource descriptor so the second sentence is irrelevant. Perhaps the first sentence should read > A standalone profile that inherits requirements from multiple 'parent' specifications should indicate the source of those requirements via import(???) or annotation mechanisms.
