Looking at the SSN document, the roles are not even described. I don't know what the intention of that document is in relation to roles but I don't see it as analogous to profont, where the roles are really essential to the purpose of the ontology. I still vote for a list of initial roles in the FPWD, and we'll see how they play out for the final document.
