For the users, in the second example that I gave, they see a list of
URLs. 

It is completely different from studying the format of a message to be
submitted to an API or, in this case, submit the SPARQL query. It is an
URI Template. In concrete terms, for them, they ask the subsets through
URLs. 

The fact that this is translated to a SPARQL query is transparent to the
consumers.
