Please let’s not get into a discussion whether PDF is an open or closed
format! I am sure one can argue for hours and not agree. And. Like Steve, I
don’t understand why it matters.
Formats are just formats. Some work better for certain purposes for certain
people than others but I don’t think it’s helpful to classify formats as
‘good’ or ‘bad’. It just depends on what you try to achieve.
