There was a time not so long ago where the term "Good English Cuisine," would elicit snickers as one conjured up images of blood sausage, beans, chips, overcooked beef, soggy vegetables, and fries. But nowadays, London is full of fantastic restaurants with excellent international cuisines. And there are even some quite good ones that we can afford close to our meeting venue at IBM Southbank. For those attending our first Face to Face meeting, I thought we might select one together and offer some options to begin the discussion: 1. The Refinery 110 Southwark Street Southwark SE1 0TF, United Kingdom +44 845 468 0186 therefinerybar.co.uký 2. OXO Towermore infoý Oxo Tower Wharf Barge House Street, South Bank, London SE1 9PH, United Kingdom +44 20 7803 3888 harveynichols.comý 3. Ev Restaurantmore infoý The Arches, 97-99 Isabella Street London SE1 8DD, United Kingdom +44 20 7620 6191 tasrestaurants.co.uký I'm sure there are others and hope those with more knowledge of London will send suggestions. In the meantime, do any of these appeal? Best Regards, Steve Motto: "Do First, Think, Do it Again"
