Hello all. Web of Things (WoT) was recently published as a W3C standard. Its architecture page specifies a list of "application domains and use cases targeted by the W3C WoT and which are used to derive the abstract architecture". - https://www.w3.org/TR/wot-architecture/#sec-use-cases I found them to be very useful in understanding the context of WoT and in applying WoT to applications/use-cases in the real world. I think we in DPVCG should adopt a similar approach so as to: 1) Determine/Demonstrate stakeholders our work will be of relevance to and/or benefit 2) Enable providing context in application of DPV to real-world situations 3) Refine our development of DPV by using these to guide us We already have discussed this in the past in an informal capacity e.g. how can a Controller demonstrate compliant processing. It would be valuable to record these in the above prescribed manner. I am proposing we use GitHub to do this collection of application and use-cases so as to encourage the wider community to participate (see SOLID user-stories https://github.com/solid/user-stories) and then consolidating them in a more formal document.
