Re: [admin] Welcome to the DAP WG!

Hi all!

I am the leader of mobile browser engineering team at Yandex and I’m glad to join this group. We are going to work on device APIs in our browser and would like to share our thoughts with community and participate in API standardization.
Currently we are looking at Standby API, which was proposed a couple of months ago. We are ready to implement it in our browser.
We are also interested in other device API (like Ambient Light API, Battery Status API, Push API etc) hope we can help with them too.

Regards,
Ilya

The working group page has information on our meetings [4], including our teleconferences. You will want to use IRC at meetings [5] and if a dedicated IRC client does not work you can use the web client [6].

Please note that mail for the task forces does not appear on the DAP mailing list, so you have to join the task forces explicitly to participate. The task forces may also have additional teleconferences.
