Just register those things (tv, printer, whatever) as intent handlers automagically through the browser. You could have a browser UI that displays your local services, and the user selects the ones they want to make available to Web applications (same as going to, for example, FB). Then those intent handlers just automagically appear in the list of intent handlers. -- Marcos Caceres
