This is nothing short of excellent news and I will take a closer look and report back in time for our next conference call. On initial review there are significant similarities in both API and implied UI. I'd really like to engage with Mozilla on all aspects of this...especially the use of Portable Contacts as we've discussed this many times in this group but are yet to reach concensus. Anyway, awesome stuff and I'm sure we'll be hearing more about this in the coming weeks. - Richard Dominique Hazael-Massieux <dom@w3.org> wrote: A Mozilla Labs project announces they have implemented a Contacts API in an add-on: http://mozillalabs.com/blog/2010/03/contacts-in-the-browser/ They mention our work, although I can't tell for sure they have implemented some version of our API or something else. The authorization screenshot is really quite interesting given our discussions on the topic: http://mozillalabs.com/files/2010/03/disclosure.png Maybe some of our Mozillians participants could give more details on this?
