Contacts API in Mozilla labs

A Mozilla Labs project announces they have implemented a Contacts API in
an add-on:

They mention our work, although I can't tell for sure they have
implemented some version of our API or something else.

The authorization screenshot is really quite interesting given our
discussions on the topic:

Maybe some of our Mozillians participants could give more details on
this?
