Re: W3C TAG position on policy mechanisms for Web APIs and Services

Hi Fredrick: In response to your email of Jan 6[1], at the TAG meeting of
1/29/2010[2], the TAG agreed that the GeoLocation design should not be taken
as a starting point and that privacy issues need to be considered separately
potentially for each API DAP works on.  As Noah pointed out in his email[3],
the issues relating to privacy have as much (possibly more) to do with use
cases and user experience as they might have to do with programmatic style
or benefit of alignment. The TAG concurs with this view.
