(other than devx, e.g. perf) Ideally bias values are expected to jump as soon as the estimate of the hard-iron changes, and they should be stable the rest of the time. Depending on the use case, say for the VR use case, I guess bias data is needed all the time, to detect presence of magnet and how far it is from the sensor.
