Yes, and the current SHACL design is IMHO intuitive for anyone who never
had any exposure to OWL or RDF, e.g. from an object-oriented world. When

I checked and the defaults for minimum and maximum cardinality
(MultiplicityElement.lowerBound() and upperBound() in UML are both 1.  I
filed an issue proposing that we change the current 0..* defaults to 1..1
to make the above statement true.
