Dear all, the "Nested Constraint Macros" requirement was proposed for approval in the 12.02.15 meeting. The minutes are missing and cannot recall if it was approved. After yesterday's wording changes in 2.5.1 "Association of Class with Shape" I believe that 2.7.4 might bring undesired effects and needs to be stated in more detail. The problem I see is that if a shape *can* be associated with a class and shapes *can* be nested, then 2.7.4 allows (ShEx) NodeShapes to be mixed with ClassShapes. In my understanding ClassShapes were meant to be nested using the the 2.5.4 Property Type req and 2.7.4 was meant for NodeShapes mostly. Mixing these two could possibly work when linking ClassShapes from NodeShapes but not sure if it can work the other way around. I think we need more details on how NodeShapes work in order to determine this type of nesting.
