Agreed. I started converting all those tests for the test suite in 
end-of-november 2012. I did

background-size-vector-001

to

background-size-vector-029

and, unfortunately, I could not continue the conversion of remaining 143 
svg tests, which include the tall--auto--*, tall--contain--*, 
tall--cover--*, wide--12px-*, wide--auto--*, wide--contain--*, 
wide--cover--* and the zero-* series of tests.
