I think most test assertions are more difficult to design for a huge range in size, and I'm questioning the value in spending the time doing so, given the enormity of the task at hand. Many existing tests will need revisiting if they must be usable for very small screen or paper sizes. But it probably would also be good to add a meta to document assumptions a particular test makes.
