SebastianZ has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts: == [css-pseudo-4] Allow to add a marker to each line == I just stumbled over a [very old Mozilla request](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88988) asking for a pseudo-element that adds a marker to each line box. The use case behind it was to add a '>' in front of each line to indicate a quoted text. That seems a reasonable use case to me and I think it's not covered by any current feature. According to [a comment](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88988#c5) by @LeaVerou, there was a `::line-marker` pseudo-element defined somewhere at some point, though I can't find anything related to this.
