This is not related to the current issue at all.

I apologize, but in my opinion, the conclusion reached here is unreasonable.

From the [CSS 2 spec](https://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/visuren.html#positioning-scheme)

9.3.2 Box offsets: 'top', 'right', 'bottom', 'left'

"An **element is said to be positioned** if its ['position'](https://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/visuren.html#propdef-position) property has a value other than 'static'. **Positioned elements generate positioned boxes**, laid out according to four properties:"
