Re: [csswg-drafts] [css-color-4] Channel clipping breaks author expectations, especially when using 'perceptually uniform' spaces (#9449)

I have a mac with a Display P3 monitor, albeit not an XDR monitor, but I can produce brilliant magentas by simply clipping oklch(90% 90% 0deg) as well. This makes me think that your display is clipping out-of-gamut colors due to them not being in your current profile.

I'm very confident that I'm visualizing the color correctly and that no clipping is being applied anywhere. One needs a ~P3 monitor with a (linear) headroom of ~2.5 to see the result.

The color, as specified, is not pale. It is very saturated and very bright.
