From "on good faith, etc": > Basically we have a clear and detailed specification (thanks to the abundance of detailed comments from authors and implementers), now shipped across all browsers, and content authors convey widespread surprise and frustration that it doesn't do what was promised because some implementers chose to deliberately ignore some parts of that specification. I believe that _all_ implementers made the same choice and that the same behavior now ships in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. If there is an interoperability issue I'd like to understand it, but I think and hope that's not the case. -- GitHub Notification of comment by foolip Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/9449#issuecomment-1981823212 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
