The CLReq TF [discussed](https://www.w3.org/2023/02/21-clreq-minutes.html#t02) this issue and concluded that the spacing around non-fullwidth punctuations should not be changed in Chinese, because these are not part of Chinese punctuation and should be handled according to the rules of Western punctuations. We'd be happy to continue discussing a possible solution with the JLReq TF and the CSSWG, for example, different behaviour depending on the language? -- GitHub Notification of comment by xfq Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/6091#issuecomment-1451352664 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
