> The CLReq TF [discussed](https://www.w3.org/2023/02/21-clreq-minutes.html#t02) this issue and concluded that the spacing around non-fullwidth punctuations should not be changed in Chinese, because these are not part of Chinese punctuation and should be handled according to the rules of Western punctuations. We discussed this issue again during the [I18N ⇔ CSS Call](https://www.w3.org/2023/03/28-i18n-minutes.html#t04) and another [CLReq Editors' Call](https://www.w3.org/2023/03/28-clreq-minutes.html#t03), and we're OK with trimming the spacing around non-fullwidth punctuations in Chinese (i.e., the current JLReq/CSSWG consensus). -- GitHub Notification of comment by xfq Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/6091#issuecomment-1488089540 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
