My point was: is this difference in rendering something that needs to be resolved? (OK, it is a very special case).

For example `line-break` property could have one of its values :

- prevents wrap before a digit in general (or bidirectionally ambiguous chars). Or simply say that it is not a  soft wrap opportunity.
- ends embedded opposite directional run, as it is the case with `<br>`.
