Actually, UAs other than Gecko allow text in disabled form controls to be selected as well... And there is [a bug](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=195361) which urges Gecko to follow that behavior... But I don't think that makes much sense so I opened [an issue](https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=626581) for Chromium, hoping they could change their behavior. For phrasing, I don't have any idea... Otherwise I would have included that in my post :) I wonder whether it makes more sense to use user agent stylesheet to do that, rather than making it a computation rule. -- GitHub Notification of comment by upsuper Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/285#issuecomment-231323567 using your GitHub account
