This meeting of the CCG Atlantic began with administrative updates, including reminders about the W3C Code of Ethics, membership and IPR, and the recording of calls. Greg Bernstein announced the first public working draft of the post-quantum or quantum-resistant crypto suites document, highlighting confirmed test vectors and a demo site. Elaine Wooton also mentioned the first public working draft of the forgery defense spec. Dmitri Zagidulin provided an update on the capability-based storage task force, outlining plans for its initial calls in July, which will cover wallet-attached storage, authorization capabilities (Zcaps), and encrypted data vaults (EDVs). A discussion ensued about the best way to proceed with the encrypted data vault spec, considering its previous incubation in a joint CCG and DIF working group. Unfortunately, the main presentation by Jasper van de Meent regarding his project was cut short due to technical difficulties. *Topics Covered:* - *Administrative Updates:* The meeting started with reminders about the W3C Code of Ethics, membership requirements for substantive contributors, and the availability of call recordings. - *Post-Quantum Crypto Suites:* Greg Bernstein announced the release of the first public working draft for quantum-resistant crypto suites, noting the validation of test vectors and a new demo site showcasing their implementation. - *Forgery Defense Spec:* Elaine Wooton briefly mentioned the publication of the first public working draft for the forgery defense specification. - *Capability-Based Storage Task Force:* Dmitri Zagidulin provided an update on the upcoming capability-based storage task force, announcing its first calls will take place in July and will cover wallet-attached storage, Zcaps, and EDVs. - *Encrypted Data Vaults (EDVs) Spec:* A discussion was initiated regarding the best approach for the EDVs spec, particularly concerning its previous incubation and how to proceed with its further development within CCG and potentially jointly with DIF. - *Jasper van de Meent's Project Presentation:* Jasper van de Meent attempted to present his project, which focuses on identity and continuous verification, but the presentation was interrupted and ultimately canceled due to significant audio technical difficulties. *Action Items:* - Dmitri Zagidulin will send out an email regarding the best time slot for the capability-based storage task force calls. - Will Abramson will send a meeting invite to Ramprasad Gaddam for his presentation next Tuesday. - The presentation by Jasper van de Meent will be rescheduled for a future meeting. A little bit late. we'll give people a couple more minutes before we get started. Will Abramson: Okay, great. I think we can get started. People can trickle in as they come. So, welcome everyone to today's credentials community group call. Today we've got Jasper who's going to talk to us about his project. before I get into that though, I'll just go through the admin stuff from our end. So, first, we're a W3T community group. We follow the W3C code of ethics and professional conduct. Will Abramson: So just a friendly reminder to folks to be aware of that, follow it and continue to make a friendly work environment for second IP notes. So anyone's welcome to participate in these calls. However, substantiative contributors to any CCG work item must be members of the CCG with full IPR agreement signed. just reach out to me or Mahmud or Denan. We can help you with that if you need help. third call notes. So these calls are recorded using Google's transcription service and the recording is made available on the mailing list within 24 hours I believe. for introductions or reintroductions. Does anybody new to the call today want to say hi or maybe haven't said hello for a while to introduce themselves? Will Abramson: I see you can introduce yourself now, but I'm going to hand over to you in a minute. So, maybe you can introduce yourself at the start. You also were muted. Greg Greg Bernstein: I just wanted to remind people that the postquantum or… Greg Bernstein: quantum resistant crypto suites document for verifiable credential potential is at first public working draft now that recently came over from the CCG. we've also been getting which is good for me confirmation of the test vectors. So this stuff is starting to look very solid and good. even heard from a company and I'm putting a link in that published like a demo site. Greg Bernstein: So I put into the chat the link to the spec and this one company that was contacted me as they learned how to work with verifiable credentials and they even set up a little demo site to do that and it verifies the test vectors and the specs. So people have questions about those test vectors trying to reproduce them please see me. But, we're well on our way with the quantum resistant crypto suites. Will Abramson: That's great news. Thanks, Greg. Will Abramson: Blame, please. Elaine Wooton: Yeah,… Elaine Wooton: I may say this incorrectly, but I think the first public working draft of the forgery defense spec was published and… 00:05:00 Elaine Wooton: I'll put a link in the chat. Will Abramson: It's good news. Will Abramson: Thanks, So, Greg and Ela have jumped the queue a little bit. That's quite all right. Next is announcements or reminders. So, if anyone has any other announcements or reminders for the community, please feel free to share them not hearing anyone. So, I'll move on. Last item before I hand over to Chester is work items. Do we have any updates from any of the CCG work items underway at the moment? Will Abramson: I wonder Dimmitri if I can put you on the spot and ask you about the task force what's the status on that Dmitri Zagidulin: Hi everyone. so I'm Dimmitri. I might as well give sort of introduction. So I'm a engineer working in identity credentials and storage space. and I'm going to be one of the conveners and co-editors of the capability based storage task force. going to spin up first calls this coming month in Jul a doodle poll went out a couple weeks ago for what's the best time slot for twice a month calls on the first and third week of the month. Dmitri Zagidulin: And we've got a couple of good candidates which I think Elaine unfortunately one of the only slots where some of the editors can make it are ones that you marked that you're not able to. But that's how it always is with choosing time slots for these spec calls. So, I'll send out an email on which time slot works best for everybody shortly after this call. But basically the calls calls are starting next month. Dmitri Zagidulin: The calls are going to involve three different tech families which are wallet attached storage soon to be renamed to web spaces API authorization capabilities or Zcaps and encrypted data vaults or EDVs. The wattage storage spec currently lives in MIT's digital credentials consortium org. We're going to transfer it over to CCG or the ZCAP spec is already CCG work item so it lives in CCG and the encrypted data vault spec and actually this is great that Grace is here as well. So the previous incubation effort for encrypted data vaults was a joint CCG and diff Dmitri Zagidulin: working group called secure storage. so this was a couple of years ago and the group sort of wound down for its efforts and went dormant. So my question to the group and to Grace is what's our best way to proceed? We can say that we've done the period of incubation in diff and now passing it over to CCG for further incubation. We can keep the spec in the diff github org and we're going to jointly. Dmitri Zagidulin: So basically what's the best way to proceed with encrypted data vault spec to both the chairs and the diff leadership and… Dmitri Zagidulin: we can of course don't have to decide it right this second that can be one of the questions that gets brought up on the first call. So that's the status update. I look forward to seeing many of you there. Will Abramson: Okay. Yeah,… Will Abramson: Thanks, J. Yes, I appreciate that. I look forward to the work getting started. Wonderful. I think that's everything. so with that, I'll hand over to you, Jester, to present to the group. Thanks. You're still muted. You're mute. Google Meet, I believe. There we go. 00:10:00 Mahmoud Alkhraishi: Still muted. Ramprasad Gaddam: We can't hear you. Ramprasad Gaddam: Yeah, we can't hear you. Jasper van de Meent: Thank you very much for having me. and I just want to share something maybe information with you guys maybe a few reports and anyway I want to know a bit about this everything but I've got my knowledge on 25 years plus of breaking systems and building things and we've came to earlier I built a system which handles that fairly well in a safety way. Jasper van de Meent: I can highlight identity to actors humans or on the time layer with continuous verification and from what I've experienced with just a systems myself it's more important to not just have a limited time or Jasper van de Meent: things that can be on brand but just instance so much nowadays it's not so yeah it's on my other layer when it's stuff like that so it's yeah I'm sorry I hope I can explain to you guys English is not the first language Maybe for this Will Abramson: Sorry, Jessa. Can I just interrupt you a sec? I'm struggling to hear you too for a while. I wonder if you have a headset or some sort of headphone. I think there's just maybe the mic's not picking up you're up too well or… Jasper van de Meent: Okay. Will Abramson: I can hear you a little bit but it's bitly Will Abramson: Okay, hopefully he in the meantime, I wonder Ra Ram, could I just ask you very quickly if you're okay to present to the group next Tuesday,… Will Abramson: I think I've been missing some of your emails. Yeah, I'll send you a email meeting invite. Ramprasad Gaddam: Yes, I will. 00:15:00 Ramprasad Gaddam: Yeah, thank you, Will. And I'm not sure… Ramprasad Gaddam: why those emails are landing there because I'm rarely sending out an email from this inbox. Google, it is Will Abramson: Yeah. Yeah. Will Abramson: I don't know. worries. Will Abramson: Sorry about the delay, folks. I don't know what's happened to Jasper. Hopefully be here soon. Will Abramson: That's just says it's got some problems with hour at the moment. I don't know. Maybe give him five more minutes and if he's not here, we just cancel and we can look to reschedu at the moment. 00:20:00 Will Abramson: Yeah, maybe we just have to cancel and we can to reschedu this. Mahmoud Alkhraishi: Yeah. Unfortunately,… Will Abramson: I'm sorry about that. Mahmoud Alkhraishi: I think we do. Will Abramson: So, unless anyone has anything else to share just finally before we close,… Mahmoud Alkhraishi: right. Will Abramson: I think we'll call it Sorry about that. I don't know what went wrong there. Mahmoud Alkhraishi: Thank you everyone. Will Abramson: I thought Ramprasad Gaddam: Thank you.
