*Transcript* 00:05:00

Will Abramson: Hey, how's it going? you're not even Apac, How are you?

Francisco Corella: All right.

Francisco Corella: are you?

Will Abramson: Yeah, I'm actually just on the train. I'll say hi briefly.
my camera, but Can you see my camera over there? I think the Wi-Fi is
probably not that good. thanks for joining. so today I was just about to
write an email out. Today is supposed to be like a debrief on these series
of calls at the Asia Pacific time. so you're the only person who showed up.
because my sentence this is an experiment, right?

Will Abramson: We did four calls every Wednesday in October to both explore
the appetite in the Pacific region for a credentials community group call
that is more friendly to that region and…

Will Abramson: this okay what's next do we want to keep doing this not
where are you based from disco Yeah.

Francisco Corella: I'm in Sacramento,…

Francisco Corella: Yes,…

Will Abramson: So, you go very early for this. I apologize for that. were
you aware of the topic today or…

Francisco Corella: it's 5:00 a.m. here. …

Will Abramson: were you just interested to see what Right.

Francisco Corella: Because I came to the previous meeting. I missed the one
before that unfortunately which was already of lot of interest to me
because was from Bhutan.

Francisco Corella: Bhutan and the eye, but having a regat would be good,
but if I'm the only one and you can send it by email, that would be fine
also. Yeah. And one thing Yeah.

Will Abramson: Yes. …

Will Abramson: I think my sense is my general summary is there's a lot of
interesting things going on in the Asia-Pacific region, but I don't think
there's anyone willing to lead that effort really.

Will Abramson: What I was hoping for is at the end of this series of
events, someone from the Asia Pacific region might step forward and…

Will Abramson: say, "Yeah, I'm willing to, at least help coordinate these
calls." sorry, can you hear me? Maybe my audio is not great.

Francisco Corella: Yes. Yes.

Francisco Corella: I can hear Yes. Yes. Yeah.

Will Abramson: And…

Francisco Corella: You were waiting. Yeah.

Will Abramson: obviously that's not happened. So I mean I'll send an email
around and see what people say. see if there is appetite for anything
further. But from my point of view I think it was an interesting
experiment. There was some good call right I think every single one of the
three calls where people showed up and presented was interesting and useful
and they're all recorded so they're available and on the record. I think
the call time was good actually.

Will Abramson: I think a lot of people in the AP pack who presented at
least said, "Yeah, I really appreciated having a time…

Will Abramson: where I could share this work with the community." …

Francisco Corella: Yeah. …

Francisco Corella: how could I see this recap that you are going to send by
email?

Will Abramson: so Let me find a way for you to get on the mail alien list.

Francisco Corella: I'd like to have a recording of the previous meetings in
particular the one with Bhutan. I would be interested in seeing that so,
will I receive that myself? I'm not one thing that I'm new to this. So I'm
not sure I am in the Middle East or I know how to get on making this. I
would love to be I would like one thing I would like to know is how I can
join I think it's possible to join as of an invited expert to the community
sorry to the credentials working group.
00:10:00

Francisco Corella: Is that possible? I wanted to know how I could apply for
that. I understand there's in application the process for applying and then
whatever. Yeah.

Will Abramson: Yes there is a process I can try and…

Will Abramson: find that for you. generally what the invited expert the
requirements are you need to show that you have been a contributor to the
work or the community in the past. but it's worth filling out a form I
don't know if you've been working extensively with verifiable credentials
then I think it's an option. And the other thing is they would say why
aren't you joining the W3C as a member?

Will Abramson: But that link I just shared is the kind of like instructions
for how you can apply as an invited expert.

Francisco Corella: …

Francisco Corella: you share something right now. yes. Yeah. Thank you.
Yes. Yeah.

Will Abramson: And then I'll just find you…

Francisco Corella: Right. Okay.

Will Abramson: where you can sign up for the mailing list. So, you'll get
this email that I'm about to send out. yeah. Okay.

Will Abramson: So, this is our credentials community group website that I
just shared. and in there there's a big button that says subscribe to the
mailing list and that should take you to a place where hopefully you can
subscribe and I'll share a link to all the report outs from the previous
call and I'll just kind of reflect and say look I think it was useful
experiment but probably for the moment we're not going to continue these
calls unfortunately unless

Francisco Corella: Okay.

Will Abramson: somebody jumps in and says, "No, I really want to and I'm
willing to, help facilitate that." I appreciate you joining so early. Do
you usually join the normal CCG called or can you not make those?

Francisco Corella: Okay. I'm sorry.

Francisco Corella: What? Whether I No.

Will Abramson: Do you join the regular credentials community group calls?

Francisco Corella: No. Suki Juhan told me about this, …

Will Abramson: on Tuesdays,…

Francisco Corella: but I didn't know anything about it before. Yes. Right.

Will Abramson: we meet at 9:00 a.m. Pacific every week.

Francisco Corella: Okay.

Will Abramson: Yeah, it's the same kind of Yeah.

Francisco Corella: Can I attend that?

Will Abramson: Yeah, of course. It's just the same kinds of calls.

Will Abramson: So, we've always done this Tuesday call.

Will Abramson: And this was an experiment to do in an Asia-Pacific friendly
time as well.

Francisco Corella: Okay.

Francisco Corella: Can you send me a links for how I can attend the
Tuesdays?

Will Abramson: Yeah. So, it should be on that website. So, you go to the
link to the website and then there's join our meetings and you'll get a
list to our calendar,…

Francisco Corella: Okay. Okay.

Will Abramson: our calendar of event.

Francisco Corella: I'll look at that. That's great. Yes.

Will Abramson: And So you can subscribe to our calendar, but at the Tuesday
at 9:00 a.m. Pacific is the regular community group call and then some
other calls are more specific focused on work items.

Francisco Corella: Okay, I should add that.

to see you on Tuesdays.

Francisco Corella: Add that. Yes. Okay.
