[48 hours left] Support for W3C Privacy WG

Hey W3C Verifiable Credentials WG (bcc: CCG and DIDWG),

The W3C is considering upgrading the W3C Privacy and Interest Group
(which is NOT an official W3C Working Group today) into an official
W3C Working Group.

This is a very good thing; the W3C, and the people that use the Web,
need a consistent Working Group that ensures that privacy
considerations for individuals are at the forefront of how we continue
to enhance the Web.

The proposed charter is here:

https://www.w3.org/2023/12/proposed-wg-privacy.html

If you are a W3C Member, you have less than 48 hours to vote on the charter:

https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/33280/privacy-wg-2023/results

This is important to Verifiable Credentials, Decentralized
Identifiers, and the future that many of us are attempting to
collectively build. The establishment of a W3C Privacy Working Group
would lend more credibility to the work that needs to be done in the
coming years to ensure that an individual's right to privacy isn't
accidentally, or systematically, eroded by new Web technologies.

Please vote at the link provided above.
