It would be helpful if such cancellations could be reflected
on the CCG calendar [1].

It would also be helpful to post (a) clear pointer(s) to exactly 
what steps must be taken for a company, and distinctly for an 
individual, to join DIF to the extent needed to participate in 
this "joint" work (which isn't really joint, since it requires 
participants from the CCG to explicitly join DIF, and does not
accept CCG membership as a proxy for DIF membership for the 
purpose of such "joint" efforts).

(It would be *more* helpful if this and other "joint" projects
could accept CCG and/or W3C and/or other similar group membership 
as proxy for DIF membership, and vice versa, for purposes of participation in such "joint" projects, which might then actually 
be considered "joint" ... which they are not now; they're DIF.)
