CCG members, Just wanted to make sure that we put a notice out a bit early on a few key calls coming up regarding the state of W3C, Legal Entity Progress, Challenges, and Opportunities for continued leadership and growth in Standards development at W3C After we had a huge amount of positive feedback from all sides on the open and frank conversation from the AB some months ago, we reached out to get an update as there are some key items in development and underway that will have impacts on W3C. We really appreciate the time from leadership, and especially from Jeff as there is a lot of activity going on right now at W3C on many levels, and ensuring that there is time for this kind of community outreach and communication is important and is part of what makes W3C different from other orgs. As per normal, these meetings will be during the main CCG call time, Tuesdays, at 9am PDT, 12pm EDT, 4pm BST, 5pm CEST / 5AM NZDT Date: Tuesday, August 2, 2022 Guest Speaker(s): Jeff Jaffe Date: Tuesday, August 2, 2022 Guest Speaker(s): Advisory Board Members Topics we will cover: 1) How are things going? an abbreviated "state of the union" so to speak from each perspective 2) How are coming changes going to impact (or not impact) standards development and community groups 3) What are the biggest challenges W3C faces? How can the W3C members, the AC and Community Groups help meet those challenges 4) What are the biggest opportunities for W3C? 5) What is the path forward - general timeline & roadmap - key things to be aware of that are coming up Mike Prorock CTO, Founder https://mesur.io/
