Being new to the space, that’s a question I asked myself recently. Imho, this Awesome Self Sovereign Identity <https://github.com/animo/awesome-self-sovereign-identity> is one of the best places to start! Another resource that I found really interesting, even if really detailed and quite “old” (it has been produced in late 2020) is this cross-community architecture survey <https://github.com/decentralized-identity/decentralized-identity.github.io/blob/master/assets/crosscommunity-architecture-survey-oct-2020.pdf> from the DIF website (here <https://github.com/decentralized-identity/decentralized-identity.github.io/blob/master/assets/map-of-adjacent-orgs-and-specs--sept-2020--one-sided.pdf> the simplified version).

I will follow this thread anyway and will propose a merge request with the missing elements (DIDKit and Credible as suggested by Oliver in his last email) to the list I first linked.
