FWIW, the banks in Sweden created a co-owned CA and associated ID-wallet which nowadays is used by 98% of the population between 18 and 67 which probably is a world record. To scale this scheme though depends on the fact that Sweden has a citizen ID concept, like Finland, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, and Spain. Apple? I don't see that they have any mission to fill here except providing a nice client platform. thanx, Anders
