We have hit Github's limit on page build time because of the raw amount of audio recordings we have (hundreds of hours of audio going back to 2014) takes too long to download onto the web servers now. Github pages tries to download the entire repository (5+ GBs) on each and every change, which is resulting in page build timeouts. Our older system didn't have this problem (it just downloaded the deltas and was fast), but when we moved over to Github Pages, we don't have a choice in the way it chooses to build pages. We're working on a fix... We're in the process of creating archive repositories to address the issue so that Github can keep up with the rate at which we're cranking out audio and transcriptions. -- manu -- Manu Sporny - https://www.linkedin.com/in/manusporny/ Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc.
