Re: ditch voip/sip

Interesting! I find the UX of zoom really janky, with all of it's tiny
individual floating windows (chat, participants, actual video window)
which I'm always losing (especially when scribing in another workspace),
plus it always freezes for a good 30-45 seconds after joining a call so
I can't mute or use any of the menus.. When someone screenshares it
takes over focus and goes fullscreen no matter what else I'm doing,
which is particularly frustrating when scribing! I wrote out a longer
list of UX issues but decided perhaps this list doesn't need my zoom rant :)

I had non-technical extended family members using jitsi for the first
time recently without any confusion at all which was a delight.
