I nominate myself, Joe Andrieu, for Seat B (term 2020-2022).
I run a small consultancy focused on requirements engineering for digital identity and blockchain systems. I've been involved with user-centric identity for over a decade and decentralized identity since the first ID2020 and second Rebooting the Web of Trust (where I am now treasurer, board member, and facilitator). I'm co-editor of both "Verifiable Credentials Use Cases" [1] and "Decentralized Identifier Use Cases & Requirements" [2]. I'm an invited expert for both the DID WG and the VC WG. I created Functional Identity [3] and am lead author of both the "Five Mental Models of Identity" [4], and the pending "Rubric for Decentralization of DID Methods".
I have been a co-chair of the CCG with Kim and Christopher for three years and am proud of the work we've done to-date, including the improvements in process and the successful chartering of the DID Working Group.
I see the chairs work as providing an open community for exploring opportunities for better digital credentials and their use for decentralized identity.
I look forward to the opportunity to continue this work.
