Hi all, Building on the discussions we had over the last few weeks, I've kicked off a roundup of educational verifiable credential types that this task force is interested in pursuing in pilots (focusing specifically on the content and structure of the credential). https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pt-VNnjoYgl23Mlu0Tjyax5RgANPBfDijERz0SNYfSo/edit?usp=sharing From the recent discussions, we've learned there are a lot of longer-term alignment efforts underway, but we don't want to wait until everything's done. The goal will be to come up with future-looking examples of VCs plus guidance we can give to implementers (around relevant competency frameworks, etc.) More details are in the paper. This also brings up the trickier issue of credentials that currently use XML, and need to continue doing this in the near term for legal signature requirements (e.g. EDCI and eIDAS requirements). We'll start discussing on next Monday's VC-EDU call, but please feel free to add any comments before then.
